This is a screenshot of a tool that sat on every Barclays salespersons desktop. It shows the detailed statistics of the Last Look rejects for every client. It shows the number of trades accepted (‘Trades’) and rejected (‘Rejects’), the volumes of accepted (‘Accepted(£)’) and rejected (‘Rejected(£)’) trades and the reject ratios by number of trades (‘RR by trades’) and volume (‘RR by volume’). The tool allowed the results to be sliced by currency pair, size of trade, time of trade and date range. This tool alone, puts the lie to the notion that Barclays sales staff could possibly have had the existence of Last Look hidden from them, or that anyone would even try.
The screenshot below shows a second tool which allowed sales people to view the details of Last Look rejects.
